Course Registration
Course registration is one of the most important tasks for students. Use this page to find detailed times and information for upcoming registrations for WPI students. Cross-registration information (participating schools only) and information for non-degree students (sometimes called guest students) is also available.

* Credits earned reflect total credits earned, including transfer credit, at the time registration begins. Undergraduate class standing (sophomore, junior, etc.) is based on the minimum number of units earned defined in the Undergraduate Catalog. The “rising class” appointment minimums are based on these values (converted to credits) minus a generous allowance for courses in progress for D-Term and summer terms. There are no exceptions to these thresholds.
For New Students
Information regarding registration for new undergraduate and graduate students will be sent to you via email. New graduate students may register once registration is open and they have received and activated their WPI credentials.

Registration Pointers
Here are some things to be aware of before you get started with course registration in Workday:

- Go over your desired schedule with your advisor before you attempt to register.
- When adding and dropping classes, view any unresolved errors.
- Workday will check time conflicts when you register. You must resolve the conflict by changing one of the courses before your registration will be accepted.

- ALWAYS confirm your schedule after making changes by viewing your courses in Workday. Changes should be immediately available.
