LTC (Ret) Fedencia Fitch
Human Resource Assistant
Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Fedencia Fitch was born in the Philippines and in 1973 and she immigrated with her family to the United States, settling in Northern California. She attended Santa Clara University and upon graduation in 1989 was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army Signal Corps through the Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) program.
LTC (Ret) Fitch completed overseas deployments to Panama in support of Operation Just Cause in 1990, the Persian Gulf in support of Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm in 1991, to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2005, and to Afghanistan in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel in 2016.
Her military duty positions include: Platoon Leader, Battalion Signal Officer, Observer/Controller, Assistant Professor of Military Science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) ROTC, Small Group Instructor for Command General Staff Officer Course, and Battalion Commander in Afghanistan.
She was a Senior Military Science Instructor for Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Fitchburg State University from 2007-2015. From 2017-2019, she served as the Director Northeast Quabbin Veterans’ Services District, providing service to the veterans in that area.
Ms. Fitch earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Commerce from Santa Clara University, CA, a Master of Science Degree in School Guidance Counseling from Fitchburg State University, MA, and is a licensed Guidance Counselor for Grades 5 – 12.
Her military awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal (with 1 Bronze Service Star), Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal (with 2 Bronze Service Stars), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal (with 3 Bronze Service Stars), Armed Forces Reserve Medal (with M device), Iraq Campaign Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal, and NATO Medal (Operation Resolute Support).
Ms. Fitch currently serves as the Human Resource Assistant for the Bay State Battalion, Army ROTC. She lives in Princeton, MA and enjoys traveling with her husband, Jon, and two children Elizabeth (26) and Nicholas (23).
