MSG Nattoo is originally from Linstead, Saint Catherine, Jamaica, and grew up in Brooklyn, NY. He began his military career in January 2008, enlisted as a 12B Combat Engineer, and attended Basic Training OSUT at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. His assignments include 95th Route Clearance Company, 165th Engineer Battalion, Scholfield Barracks, Hawaii from 2008 to 2011. Charlie Company, 9th Engineer Battalion, Ledward Barracks, Germany from 2011 to 2013. Echo Company, 161 Infantry Battalion, Fort Jackson, South Carolina, from 2013 to 2016. 937th Sapper Company, 20th Engineer Battalion, Fort Hood, Texas, from 2016 to 2019. Counter Explosive and Hazardous Center, 1st Engineer Brigade, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, from 2019 to 2021. Alpha Company, 10 Brigade Engineer Battalion, 3ID, Fort Stewart, Georgia, from 2021 to 2025. MSG Nattoo deployments include Tikrit, Iraq, from January 2009 to December 2009, supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). One rotation each to Japan, Turkey, Germany, and Lithuania. 

MSG Nattoo is currently a Senior Master Instructor at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, Massachusetts, and has held numerous positions throughout his career. He has held all leadership positions, including Team Leader, Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, First Sergeant, Drill Sergeant, and Instructor.

MSG Nattoo awards and decorations include Meritorious Unit Commendation, Superior Unit Award, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (4[Oak Leaf Cluster] OLC), Army Achievement Medal (3OLC), Army Good Conduct Medal (5th Award), National Defense Service Medal (NDSM), Iraq Campaign Medal (Campaign Star), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development (NCOPD) Ribbon (4th Award), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (3rd Award), Certificate of Achievement (2nd Award). He has also received the Drivers Badge, Basic Instructor Badge, Combat Action Badge, and Drill Sergeant Badge.

MSG Nattoo's military education includes Basic Leaders Course (BLC), Advanced Leader Course (ALC), Senior Leader Course (SLC), Master Leader Course (MLC), Equal Opportunity Leaders Course (EOL), Unit Prevention Leader Course (UPL), Combat Lifesaver Course (CLS), Field Sanitation Course, Master Fitness Trainer (MFT), Master Resilience Trainer course (MRT), Counter Explosive Hazardous Planner course, Route Reconnaissance Leader Course, Unit Master Trainer, Subterranean Breach Course, Ranger Breachers Course, Urban Breacher Course and CBRN Responder. He has a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Forensic Science from the University of Management and Technology and a Master's in Criminal Justice Administration from Columbia Southern University.

MSG Nattoo has one daughter, Keri-Jan Hyacinth Nattoo.
