Dr. Zhaoqi “ZQ” Cheng is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He obtained his PhD in Information Systems from Boston University, M.Sc. in Business Technologies from Carnegie Mellon University.

His research interests include the development and responsible use of generative AIs for managerial and societal insights. His work primarily focuses on the interpretable representation and exploration of significant business constructs in text corpora, with a particular emphasis on patents and open-source projects. Additionally, his research extends to harnessing generative AIs for social good.
