David C. Snowdon is the Senior Financial Analyst in the Office of Financial Planning & Analysis and joined WPI in July 2026. He brings a strong background in municipal finance and organizational strategy, having served in progressively responsible roles for the Town of Shrewsbury, MA, including long-term financial forecasting, rate-setting analysis, budget development, and operational process improvement. David supports departments across the university with budget tracking, financial inquiries, and reporting, helping to ensure accuracy across operating and capital budgets, startup accounts, and position management. He also contributes to process documentation and improvement efforts that promote efficiency and transparency in financial operations. David holds a Master of Business Administration in Public Administration from Northeastern University and reports directly to Lauren Martunas, Director of Financial Planning and Budgeting.
