Undergraduate Program

  • The degree incorporates mathematics, science, engineering, entrepreneurship, design, and social implications.
  • All students are expected to graduate having completed a capstone project, demonstrating team-based professional-level design or research.

Graduate Program

Masters

The master’s program educates students to:

  • Develop advanced knowledge in selected areas of robotics, culminating in a capstone research or design experience.
  • Have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mathematics, and Mechanical Engineering underlying robotic systems.
  • Have an awareness of the management and systems contexts within which robotic systems are engineered.

 Doctorate

The PhD program educates students to:

  • Make significant research contributions in selected areas of robotics.
  • Have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mathematics, and Mechanical Engineering underlying robotic systems.
  • Apply tools and concepts from Management and Systems Engineering to realize robotics systems and exercise professional leadership.

Certificate Programs

RBE Management Certificate

  • Interdisciplinary program involving faculty from Robotics and the Business School.

RBE Graduate Certificate

  • A fundamentals of robotics–focused program to assist in career advancement or as the first step to a Master of Science in the field.
