This information will assist you in making a smooth financial transition to your first-year experience at WPI, ensuring that your financial aid is posted to your student account in a timely manner.

  • Reporting Outside Scholarships

  • Reducing/Declining Financial Aid

    If you have any financial aid funding that you wish to reduce or decline, please notify our office by completing and submitting the Award Reduction Form.  June 21 Award Reduction Cancellation Form (PDF) WPI assumes that you will accept all sources of financial aid funds offered in your letter unless this form is completed and emailed to finaid@wpi.edu to decline or reduce any funds.

     

  • Billing: General Information

    Review WPI's Bursar's Office website for valuable information on when the electronic billing statement will be sent, along with other useful guidance.   • Student Direct Loan Requirements

    If you have any Direct Loans (Subsidized and/or Unsubsidized) in your financial aid award, you–the student–must complete both Entrance Counseling and a Loan Agreement (Master Promissory Note). July 15 Direct Loans PDF
  • Direct PLUS Loan Application Information

    If you are a dependent student and your parent or stepparent (on the FAFSA) is interested in borrowing the federal Direct PLUS Loan, your parent can apply for a PLUS Loan and Complete a Loan Agreement (Master Promissory Note). July 15 Direct PLUS Loan PDF
  • Private Education Loans

  • Requirements to Maintain Federal and Some State Aid

    If you have federal (Title IV) and some sources of state financial aid funds, you must maintain Federal Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) in order to remain eligible for federal and some sources of state financial aid.
