WPI's Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD) program strives to help young alumni stay connected to WPI and each other through a variety of programs and events aimed at the needs and interests of the university’s youngest alumni.

Current GOLD members are from the undergraduate classes of 2007 through 2017.

GOLD provides social, professional, service, and educational opportunities that are relevant to your life. GOLD also offers opportunities for you to get involved with efforts that support WPI and the programs of the Alumni Association.

If you’re interested in being a part of the GOLD Committee and would like to help with future programming—or if you just have a suggestion—please contact us at gold@wpi.edu.

The current chair of the GOLD Committee is Kathryn Gauthier '12.

A Message from the GOLD Chair

It’s crazy to think that another academic year has started on The Hill. It has been a while since I’ve been on campus in a student role, but I've stayed involved since graduating. It has been an honor to give back my time, talent, and treasure to the place that has shaped me as a person. I knew that I wanted to stay involved as an alumna of WPI, so joining the GOLD Committee was the natural next step for me.

I’d like to thank Mike Ferro ’10 for serving as the GOLD Chair for the past 6 years – your service and dedication to launching this group and program at WPI is inspiring! I’m excited to carry on what you’ve built as the newest GOLD Chair. We’re excited to expand our current offerings to include soft-skill and career-related programming, led by our own WPI alumni. Rest assured, we will be continuing our signature events at Harpoon, Jack’s Abby, Homecoming, and our Senior Welcome Reception during Senior Week.
