More Information:

Each poster must be entered in one of the following divisions: Business and Social Science, Engineering, Life Sciences and Bioengineering, and Science. Prizes will be awarded to the first-, second-, and third-place recipients in each division, based upon a number of criteria. Award recipients will receive certificates and cash prizes to be used to further their research.

This is the first of two annual events that celebrate research and discovery on the WPI campus. The second will be 'i3: Investing in Ideas with Impact,' to be held on April 23 in Alden Memorial. This event encourages graduate students to consider how the ideas and innovations they are developing through their research could become the foundation for new products, new commercially valuable processes, or new companies. Students will give a brief presentation that can be made without the aid of PowerPoints, props, or other visuals. It requires that they learn to think and communicate like entrepreneurs.
