Gordon Library Awarded LYRASIS Grant for “Digital Scholarship With Purpose”

The George C. Gordon Library has received one of seven grants awarded in 2021 through the LYRASIS Catalyst Fund, as announced July 7.

Based in the Shuster Lab for Digital Scholarship, the Gordon Library’s Digital Scholarship With Purpose (DS/WP) project will develop a model program to accelerate and expand digital scholarship on equity, diversity, and sustainability.  

The Shuster Lab for Digital Scholarship, honoring former Gordon Library Director Helen Shuster, opened in October 2018.

The LYRASIS Catalyst Fund is an award program that provides support for new ideas and innovative projects from the LYRASIS membership. It is administered by the LYRASIS Leaders Circle to expand opportunities to explore, test, refine, and collaborate on innovations with potential for community-wide impact.
