With the onset of chilly temperatures, and even some snow, it’s the perfect time to claim today’s Inauguration countdown gift. As part of the 2014 Fall Fest, we’re giving away beautiful WPI fleece scarves at Morgan Wedge from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“It’s an exciting time as we head into the last few days of the Inauguration countdown, so we want to offer a special gift that everyone can enjoy,” says director of development communications Judy Jaeger. “This scarf is something the people can use and keep for a long time in remembrance of this milestone event.”

The scarves are crimson and gray and include a subtle WPI logo etched on with a unique laser technology, making it a truly one-of-a-kind item that will show your school spirit and help keep you warm this winter.

All WPI students, faculty, and staff are welcome to take a scarf, but there only 1,000 available—so hurry over to get yours before they are gone!

TAKE PART IN THE FESTIVITIES AT 2014 FALL FEST

When you pick up your scarf, be sure to check out the other fun activities at the 6th annual Fall Fest. Sponsored by the WPI Office of Residential Services, the event runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Morgan Wedge and offers an opportunity for the WPI community to come together to celebrate the fall season. It features representatives from the WPI Career Development Center, Student Health Center, Student Activities Office, Office of Multicultural Affairs, and Chartwells Dining Services.

Attendees can take pictures with Gompei, eat cotton candy, compete in a Super Smash Bros. tournament, and even get a free #LIVEWPI shirt (starting at 2 p.m.). Caricature and airbrush artists will also be on hand from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to draw pictures and give away backpacks with airbrush art. The Residential Services Facebook page will also be offering giveaways every 15 minutes through the duration of the event.
