Kwamie Dunbar is a professor of finance and director of the master's in Financial Technology (FinTech) program at WPI. He is a teacher, researcher, and has worked with several Fortune 500 companies in various capacities. His research examines blockchain assets for social good and sustainability, empirical asset pricing, cryptocurrencies, financial technologies, and futures markets. His research has contributed to insight on digital transformation in finance and economics. Professor Dunbar regularly presents his work at international conferences and writes media pieces.
