Student Community Centers

The Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Multicultural Education (ODIME) is home to various community centers that foster student success and provide a meaningful sense of belonging and community. All WPI students are welcome to utilize these student lounges and engage in the resources they offer.

The Collective, Rubin Campus Center

The Collective is a unified, multipurpose suite; it is currently under construction and will be fully open in October 2025. This reimagined space features dedicated rooms for socializing, collaboration, and independent study.

  • The Outer Suite is the place to hang out with friends and meet new people. It will feature comfy seating, a TV to watch your favorite show, and a student art wall.
  • The Collective Reset is a space to recharge and relax. With soft seating and low sensory lighting, it’s a place to decompress.
  • The Collective Focus is for individual study. With individual seating and a lower-distraction environment, you can be productive here.
  • The Collective Roundtable is for collaboration and gameplay. With a board table and a screen for sharing homework or for gaming, this is where you can collaborate with friends.
