Non-WPI Student Registration

*Please note: We will accept registration requests, for spring or fall semesters, 1 week prior to the start of the term. We cannot register non-degree students until the first day of the term if space is available.

Registration Process

For students who require verification of non-traditional courses: Method of instruction cannot be verified. WPI can certify the courses taken but not the course type. Please be aware of this when registering for classes.

Registration Process: Once the application (and fee, if applicable) are submitted you will receive an immediate confirmation. Please expect a 24-48 hour processing time. When you are officially registered for a course(s), you will be notified at the email you provided. In this email, you will receive additional information about setting up your WPI computer accounts and specific information about how to pay your tuition bill.  Note: non-WPI students may not be registered for fall or spring semester courses until the first day of the term.

Payment of Tuition: Once you are registered for a course, you have 48 hours to pay for your course. If you fail to make payment, you will automatically be dropped from the course. Additionally, no third party letter(s) of credit are accepted for non-matriculated students, the student must pay for the course(s) and be reimbursed. Visit the Bursar’s Office website for payment information.

Administrative Fees: Students dropped for non-payment are subject to an administrative fee of $100 if reinstated. Payment for tuition and any additional fees will be due at the time of the reinstatement request. Students must allow 48 hours for their student account and access to be reactivated.
