Registration Process (Non-WPI Students)
Registration Process: Once the application (and fee, if applicable) are submitted you will receive an immediate confirmation. Please expect a 24-48 business hour processing time. When you are officially registered for a course(s), you will be notified at the email you provided. In this email, you will receive additional information about setting up your WPI computer accounts and specific information about how to pay your tuition bill.
- Non-Degree students are registered on a space available basis. Depending on course populations we might need to decline your request or hold it until 2-3 days before the start of the term/semester.
- Add/Drop deadlines are strictly enforced. Please review the Academic Calendar and familiarize yourself with important deadlines.
- Non-degree students are permitted to earn a maximum of 18 credits (6/3rds) in a non-degree status
For students who require verification of non-traditional courses: Method of instruction cannot be verified. WPI can certify the courses taken but not the course type. Please be aware of this when registering for classes.
Payment of Tuition: Once you are registered for a course, you have 48 hours to pay for your course. If you fail to make payment, you will automatically be dropped from the course. Additionally, no third party letter(s) of credit are accepted for non-matriculated students, the student must pay for the course(s) and be reimbursed.
