Wellness Vending Machine
The Center for Well-Being and Student Health Services are excited to introduce a Wellness Vending Machine located in the Morgan Wedge alongside the other snack and drink vending machines. The vending machine intends to increase student access to over-the-counter wellness products 24/7 at low to no cost. The machine accepts goat bucks, credit and debit cards.
We highly encourage individuals to speak with their health care provider and/or access Student Health Services to discuss any questions or concerns about their health and/or medications in this vending machine.
FAQs
Where is it located?
The wellness vending machine is located in the Morgan Wedge alongside the other snack and drink vending machines outside of Morgan Dining Hall. Morgan Wedge is accessible 24/7 with your student ID.
How does it work?
You can use the machine to purchase wellness supplies just like any other vending machine. Locate the item you want, enter the product number on the keypad, and the price will be visible on the screen. If you decide to purchase, you can swipe your credit/debit card or WPI ID card (for Goat Bucks) and then enter the product number to make the purchase. Free items do not require a card swipe.
What charge will show up on my credit card statement?
All charges will state Prestige Vending with price only. We do not track personal information.
What do I do if a product is low or out of stock?
The vending machine is regularly monitored and stocked by The Center for Well-Being. Please email cwb@wpi.edu or call 508-831-6494 to let us know about supply or machine issues. Please note that calls and emails received after hours, over the weekend or holiday breaks will not be immediately answered.
If the machine is out of an item or not working, all of these over-the-counter medications and supplies can be purchased at local pharmacies, and many can be purchased in the WPI College Bookstore. WPI’s Safety Transportation Shuttle will take students to the CVS located at 44 West Boylston St. More information about the shuttle and how to download the app can be found here.
