Online Assignment Submission Options

The Assignment Manager, and SafeAssign are tools in myWPI that can be used for assignment submission. In an effort to phase users out of using the Dropbox, in the latest release of the software the Dropbox is disabled in myWPI. The Assignment Manager replaces the Dropbox and provides many convenient features for managing and grading submitted assignments. New as of August 2007 is SafeAssign, an assignment submission tool that prevents plagiarism by checking submitted assignments against published sources. SafeAssign is an alternative to the Assignment Manager. New as of August 2008 is Messages, a messaging tool internal to myWPI that allows you to communicate securely with students. Messages it an alternative to the Dropbox, allowing you to securely and directly exchange files with students. This document compares the Assignment Manager, SafeAssign, and Messages.
