Careers and Internships
To navigate today's job market Computer Science students must give themselves a competitive edge and our students do that in many ways. Our project-based learning provides WPI graduates with skills that many other recent graduates do not possess. They also complete internships, co-ops, and research projects to set themselves apart in the market. WPI also provides a comprehensive career support system through our Career Development Center and within the CS department where we create networking opportunities for our students and alumni.
Resources on this page include information from the CDC on career outcomes, advice from our alumni on job search and leveraging WPI learned skills, tips from current students who recently completed internships on how they secured these positions, what they took away from the experience and other opportunities that internships can provide. You can also find additional information about WPI graduate’s job placement rates, top companies and median salaries here!
