Dr. Sarah Stanlick, Dept of Integrative and Global Studies Professor to present at New England Commission of Higher Ed (NECHE)
Dr. Sarah Stanlick, Professor in the Department of Integrative and Global Studies (DIGS) will present ’Project-based Global & Civic Learning Across STEM: Examples from Worcester Polytechnic Institute’ at New England Commission of Higher Ed (NECHE) annual meeting on December 5th. Professor Stanlick directs WPI’s signature first-year experience program, the Great Problems Seminar. She is also responsible for the delivery and support of global project-based learning through the Global Projects Program and teaches social science research methods for students of all backgrounds and majors in preparation for engaged, project-based global learning as a graduation requirement. She will discuss the institution’s unique commitment to global learning for all of its students and the connection to civic learning and global citizenship identity development.
