Under the guidance of Professor Walter Towner PhD MBA, MQP team Fangle Zhao ’24 IE, CS Minor, Jose Tamariz ’24 IE, RBE Minor, Francisco Yanes ’24 IE, BU Minor, and Nikolaos Diakides ’24, MGE-CE have been working with a robot. To be more specific they've been working with a Cobot (collaborative robot) from our friends at Universal Robots!
At the start of their project, our friends at Teradyne/Universal Robots generously hosted the group at their Boston Seaport location for training. And it was such a privilege that our host was none other than alumni Christopher Savoia '14 BME.
While in Boston, the group visited MassRobotics and had the chance to connect with some incredible WPI alumni including Flexxbotics CTO & Co-Founder Tyler Modelski '14 BME, and Application Engineers Zackary Fischer '20 ME and Brian Fennell '23 ME.
To celebrate their project, the team presented their findings to their OIE3020 C24 Achieve Effective Operations class.
