Lauren Martunas is the Director of Financial Planning and Budgeting and has been with WPI since 2012, serving in roles across Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis. Lauren offers comprehensive support for operating budgets, discretionary funds, financial reporting, and forecasting. She provides expertise streamlining cross-divisional processes and supporting Academic Affairs and Administrative units. In her position, Lauren partners with departments to deliver training, documentation, and process improvements that promote consistent, effective financial practices. ...

David C. Snowdon is the Senior Financial Analyst in the Office of Financial Planning & Analysis and joined WPI in July 2026. He brings a strong background in municipal finance and organizational strategy, having served in progressively responsible roles for the Town of Shrewsbury, MA, including long-term financial forecasting, rate-setting analysis, budget development, and operational process improvement. ...

Yvonne serves as a liaison between the Finance & Operations department, IT resources, and several project teams. She participates in cross-divisional teams engaged in promoting data stewardship, data access, and applying administrative systems best practices to the university. In her position, Yvonne applies practical business experience and technical knowledge to collaborate with other staff to support the initiatives of the UDC. Yvonne holds a BS in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University, and an MBA from Nichols College

Catherine Ushinski is the Senior Finance Systems, Data and Reporting Analyst. She joined WPI in 2016 as a member of the Procurement team before moving to Finance & Operations. In her current role she collaborates with the finance team, IT, and university stakeholders to implement and optimize finance systems and reports. Catherine manages Workday finance updates and trains users on new functionality. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Boston University and an Accounting Certificate from Assumption University.
