As one of the first and only online graduate programs in system dynamics, WPI’s online MS in System Dynamics program will give you the tools and expertise to strategically influence decision making using system dynamics, a computer-aided modeling technique for understanding complex issues. Our program has foundational roots in MIT, the birthplace of system dynamics, and is designed to help students from across a wide variety of industries improve their decision-making abilities, determine effects of business decisions, and analyze situations to identify paths of actions.

DEGREE REQUIREMENTS

10 courses, 30 credit hours. At least 21 credits in system dynamics including 6 credits of foundation courses (required); 9-12 credits of methodological courses and 6-9 credits of application courses.  The remaining 9 credits may be additional system dynamics courses or electives.  All system dynamics courses include use of modeling and each course normally utilizes one specific application. You will work with a faculty advisor to develop a customized and relevant plan of study by the end of your first semester.
