Two-week in-person, non-credit bearing residential program
Explore a STEM major with a humanities, arts, or business minor
Connect with peers from around the world who share your passion for STEM
Engage in college preparation workshops and social activities
Learn in tandem with your peers right here on WPI's campus

Audience: Rising 10, 11, and 12th graders
Frontiers I Dates: July 5 - 17, 2026
Frontiers II Dates: July 19 - 31, 2026
Cost per session of Frontiers: $4,495
(Price includes tuition, housing, meals, field trips, workshops, and activities)

Frontiers Application Opens: January 8, 2026*
Frontiers Application Deadline: April 30, 2026
Application Cost: Free
Application Materials:
~ Application, including two short free responses and list of involvements
~ Transcript(s) - Official transcripts preferred, self-submissions accepted
~ TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo English Test (international applicants only)

Major & Minor Course Information

Our Frontiers majors and minors are taught synchronously giving students the opportunity to learn live with faculty and peers. Students will explore a STEM major and humanities, arts, or business minor as they exercise both sides of their brain this summer.
