The National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) is a prestigious graduate fellowship program offered annually with deadlines from October 22-26, depending on program. NSF GRFP provides three years of full financial support to awardees. The award is open to US Citizens, Permanent Residents, and Naturalized Citizens in eligible fields within the STEM and Social Sciences, that have not completed more than 12 months of graduate training within the past three years. Second year graduate students are eligble to apply if they beginning their second year of graduate study.

This four session workshop series is for students interested in applying for the 2019 NSF GRFP. Only students eligible to apply for the 2019 NSF GRFP should participate in the workshop series. Each session is 60-90 minutes and a free lunch will be provided and will take place in Gateway Park I (60 Prescott Street), Room 1002.

Students should only register for this program if they plan on attending each of the four sessions from 12-1:30 PM on August 29 and September 12, and 12-1 PM on October 3 and 10. The second session will focus on general writing skills and allow time for application writing. The third session will provide an opportunity for structured peer feedback.
