Shuster Lab for Digital Scholarship
This workshop is an introduction to digital exhibits and collections for the humanities and social sciences. First, we'll explore how humanists and social scientists present collections and other data by looking at a number of digital exhibits. Then, we'll talk about locating and digitizing collections, what to consider when choosing a platform for creating a digital exhibit, and, finally, share an overview of different types of digital exhibit tools. This workshop is designed as an introduction for anyone who is interested in creating a digital exhibit or collection for their humanities and social science research, teaching, or project work. Please register if you plan to attend.
