Women’s Impact Network (WIN)
Sponsored Childcare Feasibility Focus Groups and Survey

The ‘WIN Sponsored Childcare Feasibility Study’ is a project funded by the Women’s Impact Network (WIN). The goal of the project is to collect, analyze, and report data related to childcare needs of the WPI community, as well as childcare support offered by other universities. The study is looking for community members (faculty, staff and students) with or without children to share their needs and wishes as it relates to childcare support from WPI

The WIN Sponsored Childcare Feasibility Study will research the childcare needs of the WPI community and possible/feasible solutions based on feedback from the community from both the survey and upcoming focus group sessions. We will be hosting three virtual focus group sessions next week (10/27-10/28) during the lunch hour (12:00 – 1:00 EST), each designated for either faculty, staff or students: Tues, October 26 @ noon (Staff Focus Group); Wed, October 27 @ noon (Graduate Students Focus Group); and Thurs, October 28 @ noon (Faculty Focus Group)
If you would like to provide feedback or know someone who would like to provide feedback on what WPI supported childcare could look like, we encourage you to attend one of the focus group interview sessions. These sessions are open to the entire community to provide feedback and input on childcare support at WPI.

If you are unable to attend the session, you are invited to fill out the survey and/or reach out to Mia Dubosarsky mdubosarsky@wpi.edu. Attendance at the focus group is not contingent on whether you’ve submitted a survey already or not.
NOTE: The survey and focus groups do not represent WPI plans for childcare support, however the data collected from the community will be included  in the project’s report and recommendations to WPI administration and senior leadership.
