WPI Tech Old Timers: The Lost Salisbury Gardens and Greenhouses

Wednesday, November 06, 2019
9:45 am to 1:00 pm
WPI Tech Old Timers welcome James Welu, Director Emeritus of the Worcester Art Museum, as he explores the gardens and greenhouses that once accompanied the home of the Museums founder, Stephen Salisbury III. Period photographs, many taken by Frederick Coulson, son of Salisbury's gardener, bring to life the floriculture of one of Worcester's finest 19th-century estates.

Join us for an illustrated talk of The Lost Salisbury Gardens and Greenhouses.
