Learning Objectives
- Students will be able to understand and appreciate diverging views, differing opinions, and the importance of diversity in their community.
- Students will learn to advocate for themselves as individuals as well as their fellow community members.
- Students will show care for their residential building as a constructive place of higher learning.
- Students will develop a sense of connection and responsibility to their residential community.
Each academic year two of the four learning objectives will be assessed through data collection, survey results, journal reflections, and change to student behavior. The assessment results will then inform necessary adjustments to the associated office function to ensure that Residential Services is providing an environment that allows for student growth and academic achievement.
