WPI is concerned about its faculty and staff, not only as employees, but also as individuals. The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides WPI employees and their household members with an opportunity to identify potential problems and prevent them from becoming major obstacles in their work and personal lives. The program also helps employees and their families resolve personal problems that may already be affecting their performance both on and off the job.

The EAP is of no cost to the employee and is completely confidential.

The EAP also provides services beyond counseling, including online coaching, various discounts, and legal and financial assistance.

Confidentiality is a critical feature of the EAP. Employees and their families can be confident that no one at the work place or anywhere else will know that the EAP was utilized unless the employee chooses to tell someone, except as may be required by law.

Consultation/assessment is at no cost to the employee and his/her household members. Services are scheduled through New Directions (formally known as E4 Health or LifeScope) or by calling 800-624-5544. Once on their website you can create your own log in or you can use the general log in:

Username: WPI
Password: guest

New Directions also provides many great webinars. To register, login to their website and on the home page click "Register for Live Webinars" (Located on the bottom right of the home page) and follow the instructions. If you are unable to make a scheduled webinar, you can click "View All Webinars" instead.
