Sreenivasan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engg. from the University of Calicut, India and completed his M.S. thesis from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras on the topic of Burning velocity of oxy-methane flames. He joined WPI Fire Protection Engineering program in Spring 2012 and completed his M.S. in Fire Protection Engineering from WPI, February 2016. He is currently studying the interaction of dust particles on premixed laminar and turbulent methane-air flames for his PhD dissertation. Sreenivasan is also working as a Research Project Manager at the Fire Protection Research Foundation, a research affiliate of the NFPA.
