Student Employment

WPI lists employment opportunities for students who are looking for work during the academic year and during the summer months.

Many jobs require a federal work study award from the Office of Financial Aid. You may apply for more than one employment position but you may only hold one work study job at a time. For work study jobs, you will need to provide the email notification from the Office of Financial Aid as your proof of federal work study funding. If you have lost this email, contact the office at finaid@wpi.edu.

When you find a job you are interested in, contact the person listed to discuss details about the position including the number of hours per week, the job responsibilities, and the hourly wage rate.

Equal Opportunity Employer

WPI is an Equal Opportunity Employer that actively seeks to increase the diversity of its workplace. All qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability. It seeks individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences who will contribute to a culture of creativity, collaboration, inclusion, problem solving, innovation, high performance, and change making. It is committed to maintaining a campus environment free of harassment and discrimination.

Once you have been hired at a job, you are expected to withdraw any other job applications for work study positions and then you must complete various payroll forms.
