Change to Office Processes relative to Coronavirus (Covid-19)
WPI has been continually working to mitigate the impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak on our university community. Our top priority is the health and safety of our faculty, students, staff, and visitors, and WPI is making decisions following the guidance of local, state, national and international health agencies. WPI’s response page, which includes answers to frequently asked questions, is updated regularly with statements from the university.
The Office of Student Aid & Financial Literacy is working remotely and with limited team members in the Bartlett Center.
We are available via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) and our phones (508-831-5469) are answered Monday - Friday between the hours of 10:30 am and 4 pm EST.
If you need to leave a message, please provide the student's WPI ID if possible. Please also leave an email address that we may use to contact you. During peak season (November - May) it may take up to 3 business days for a response to calls and emails. We will dedicate the time needed for your inquiry.
We are available for in person appointments for current WPI students in the schools Covid-19 testing protocols, or virtual appointments can also be made with our staff. Please use this appointment booking page to schedule an appointment
Virtual appointments will be via phone or virtual zoom meetings. If you select to have a zoom meeting a link will be provided to you on the day of the appointment made.
When submitting documents to our office, please email them to email@example.com or fax them to 508-831-5039 if at all possible. You may also use the Campus Center mail room for contactless drop-off. Address the envelope to Office of Student Aid & Financial Literacy and drop it off at the mail slot next to the mail room window, bottom floor of the Campus Center. If you do not have an envelope please ask the mail room staff at the mail room window for a pre-addressed Student Aid & Financial Literacy envelope, they have them available for students.

The Office of Student Aid & Financial Literacy is here to guide and help you and your family understand funding that may be available to you. We offer aid to students and access to programs that can help lower the cost of college. These include:
Need- based financial aid packages, Merit- based scholarships, On-campus employment, as well as loan programs and payment plans for parents.
All incoming first-year students receive a Global Scholarship for up to $5,000, to complete a project at one of WPI’s 50+ project centers domestically and abroad.
