Professor Calli's main research focus is robotic manipulation and its applications in various domains such as waste recycling, assistive feeding, within-hand manipulation. His lab develops manipulation algorithms by combining techniques in computer vision, control theory, and machine learning.

Massachusetts AI Hub starts awarding money for applied AI projects

Several media outlets reported on two WPI research projects being selected as winners of the first Massachusetts AI Models Innovation Challenge. The projects led by Michael Timko, William B.
