Mia-Kay Fuller (they/them) has a Masters Degree in Higher Education in Student Affairs from Salem State University in Salem, MA, USA where they worked as the LGBTQ+ Student Advocate and Liaison in the Diversity and Multicultural Affairs office. During their time there, they led tiered Safe Space trainings, developed National Coming Out Week (NCOW), organized the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, and advised The Alliance. After graduating, they went to Curry College in Milton, MA, USA to work as a Community Director within Residence Life and Housing for 2 first-year residence halls, 5 Living-Learning Communities, 12 Resident Assistants and 4 LLC Mentors. While at Curry College, Mia implemented a LLC Mentorship program, assessed, revamped, and facilitated their Safe Zone trainings, created events such as the #MeToo forum, and worked on assessment projects within the office.
Mia comes to WPI with excitement, experience, and an understanding with working with minoritized populations and is diligent on making themself available for any student who may need guidance, support, or resources.
