I'm a developmental psychologist conducting research on mathematical thinking and learning. My research examines the mechanisms and the cognitive processes involved in mathematical development. The first line of my work focuses on the effects of perceptual and contextual features in the environment on learning mathematics. The second line of my work investigates the influences of language and executive function skills on mathematical thinking and development.
Through my research, I aim to contribute to the efforts in delineating the developmental pathways to mathematical thinking, and inform practices to better support learning and development.
